Helpful tips
We have compiled a few tips to help you reduce your premium and implement some effective security measures.
With security in mind:
- Change the locks – insurer approved security locks will help to reduce your premium and may improve security.
- Install an approved security system – an approved alarm system will offer you a premium discount, but remember you have to use it!
- Join a neighbourhood watch campaign – this can help to reduce your premium if you inform us of your participation in a scheme.
- Fit a smoke alarm and don’t smoke – fire risks are greatly increased if you smoke cigarettes and insurers will now ask if you or your family smoke.
