Page 2 of 3 Main Policy Features Institute Cargo Clauses – Our policies will cover for losses as per the Institute Cargo Clauses. These clauses are standard in international trade. Cover may include damage to goods, loss of goods, theft, pilferage, conversion, shortage to non delivery. Types of claims accepted – If you’re importing goods and you’ve left the insurance in the hands of the exporter, can you be sure that the levels of cover are what you require? Our policies cover you for ‘all risks’ which include the following perils and more. Fire & Explosion, Stranding, sinking, capsize of carrying vessel or grounding, Washing Overboard, Accidental Damage, Malicious Damage. Goods in Storage - Cover is provided whilst in the ordinary course of transit, including loading & unloading. Transportation – The policies cover transit by land, sea and air for all approved modes of transport, including inland transits, imports and exports.
