Maybach Insurance The historic Maybach name, was until recently, little known in the modern day world. Owned since the early 1960’s by the Daimler Chrylser Group, the name had been left dormant for many years. It wasn’t until 1997 when Mercedes-Benz showed a prototype of a new luxury saloon. The interest in the car gave Mercedes-Benz confidence enough to go ahead and produce the vehicle, but to avoid clouding the high end Mercedes S-Class brand, the decision was taken to launch the vehicle solely under the Maybach brand.
The two models available to customers at launch, the Maybach 57 and the Maybach 62 (the numbers reflecting the length of the car). With prices starting at over £200,000 the cars were placed squarely for a head on battle with the new Rolls Royce Phantom. The strength of the Maybach is the understated appearance (for a £200,000 car anyway!) and the equipment levels available to customers. With an equipment list comprised of over 2 million options, the Maybach offers an unprecedented level of refinement and individuality.
With such high technology levels and uncompromising build standards, every Maybach is a car that deserves the best possible care. Should your Maybach be unfortunate enough to be involved in an accident, you will want your vehicle to be repaired by Maybach approved technicians. First Point can provide you with a policy to match the characteristics of your car. Contact one of our dedicated and empowered team today for a no obligation quotation.
